It's almost midnight and no one else arrived home. WE were supposed to clean the messed up floor after I work.

That means I just had cleaned the floor myself. :x Sweeped, washed, mopped, wiped, waxed, dried, dry scrubbed as I wait... And I'm not tired yet.

got the endoscopy out of the way. they... did not allude to how painful it would be upon coming to. probably because if they did, nobody would want to do it. throat feels all cut up, but it sounded like they took tissue samples or something, so maybe that's why(father mentioned the doctor said something like that it'd be unlikely to want to do another one, so he went ahead).

the doctor mentioned the stomach looking fine, but the esophagus... not so much for some reason. was sedated, so most of the experience was a blur... beyond feeling like being gagged until unconscious while being told to be doing a good job, and then waking up very confused and unable to walk without help. they said they'd use some numbing agent in the throat to get the heavy cords down, but they must not have bothered to do that since they used a sedative, yet they began before the sedative kicked in.

wanted to do other things today, but will probably just rest.

If a person tells you that they had 'idealized' you, does this mean they've come to a realization that you aren't as valuable or good or special, or what have you, as they had initially thought?

Or, is it an action, such as, telling you that you are special to them, while they hadn't, actually thought or felt that way?

^ Maybe they had thought of you as perfect, and as such, unreachable?

I don't know.
I doubt anyone would idealise me.

Happens to me. But yes, that's somehow how it is -- both of it at the same time is even possible.

While I'm rather glad at the revelations from them, I don't exactly appreciate their alternative-but-unrealistic versions of me in their heads. It's like they're lying to themselves, while I don't put up any illusions or whatsoever.

And I never felt flattered when someone told me such. I end up laughing at them. They thought I'm happy about it or/while not getting it -- in actuality, it's hilariously disappointing because they're projecting things, expecting things.

Profound. This puts so much into perspective for me. Thank you, Edma.

Thanks, Raleigh. I certainly, wouldnt think that they'd thought of me as perfect, and I had always been reachable to them. But, that's an interesting theory.
