I had two dreams.

One that combined Halo, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Fergie, and Coca-cola. I still am not quite sure what happened in the dream. It was sort of like my brain was overloading.

I also had another dream where I was a fallen Jedi turned Sith Lord and a Jedi friend who had fallen in love with me and her padawan were dueling me when I finally collapsed in exhaustion.

The padawan tried to kill my Jedi friend in order to torture me for dark secrets but I killed the padawan and then both my friend and I left the Jedi and Sith, respectively, and married.

It had a rather awesome fight scene though.

I play SWTOR too much, I know.

I had several dreams were one of those nations next to the east side of China, would fire ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads hitting the western coast of the USA. The state that this missile would land in each time was Texas.

I haven't had anymore dreams like this anymore. But when I was having such dreams, North Korea was feverishly working on a missile that would reach our shores a while back. I only had these dreams during the end of Kim Jong II,s (IL?) presidency.

North Korea is still trying to attempt to build missiles carrying nuclear weapons. I found this article on the failure. This is still very fresh on my mind because of the dreams and the recent events in N. Korea.

North Korean Missile Failure

The only reason this was brought up is because of the really stupid answer some one gave in another thread about ballistic missiles and how obsessed Americans are. If this poster realize how stupid it sounds killing a fly with a ballistic missile he or she would't have posted it. Sorry, but I'm in one of my meltdowns right now because I had a lot of trouble posting this in the correct forum after that assinine answer I read.

I dreamed about soldiers doing some sort of training exercise in the Amazon rainforest and for some reason they were having to follow giant centipedes on complicated hunting paths to determine their movements and learn from them to fight in the rainforest at some point. It was very odd.

I was really out of it this morning after my meltdown over the ballistic missile statement and my dreams about N. Korean ballistic missiles that I almost forgot that I had a dream last night. I don't know why that upset me so much except that those dreams were very upsetting to me at the time and I knew N. Korea was working with nuclear weapons on missiles.

Anyhow, I dreamt that I found a big blond dog in my house that looked like a golden retriever. The dog was really nice and we made friends immediately. I took the dog's collar off to see if I can find any identification, but I couldn't. Seems like I had this dog for a while and still had it when the dream ended.

My son said he was being chased by a giant peanut butter and jelly sandwich towards a milk lake. He said "it freaked me out because it was crunchy peanut butter, and I don't like crunchy peanut butter..."

I asked him if that was the only thing odd, and he said matter-of-factly "well yeah, what else would be odd about it?" and walked off like nothing else happened.

Crunchy peanut butter. I didn't mind it so much. It was more of a novelty to me as I had no idea it existed til I was around twelve. But in terms of texture, I will only eat creamy peanut butter on a regular basis.

Your post also reminds me of how all I would eat for lunch was PBJ, milk, and an apple.

dream i had last night was in 2 parts,

first part i was 4 wheeling in an SUV with my dad driving on a really bumpy trail (off roading) and had some areas of paved and dirt and steep inclines, then suddenly the road evened off and turned into a paved highway into a city.

next thing i know the truck was cleaned off and i entered a house where i seen 3 children, ages 7, 9 and 14 who were playing a sports game on their Wii oi then sat down to watch them play to find 2 of my door closers on the couch (an old sargent screen door closer and my LCN 4040) then i seen my dad's friend (whom i don't get along with too well)she then noticed the closers on her couch and asked what are they, why are they in her house and why i like them (in a nasty way) then she made a comment about putting them on ebay and found it childish about me having them in her house, i then said "I DONT THINK SO, YOU LIST ANY OF MY CLOSERS YOUR.........." (i then woke up to my dad talking in his sleep (yelling at someone from work) and dog wanting to go out at 2 am)

I had a dream last night that was a continuation of a dream I remember having several years ago.

The dream several years ago involved me at college really hitting it off with this one girl one day and over what seemed to be the next few weeks we fell in love. Her car broke down so I walked her home (which was like two miles away) and told her we could get it fixed the next day. The dream ended there.

I'm guessing last night's dream was a few in-dream years after the last dream because we saw each other again at the same college (apparently she had re-enrolled after a few semesters she took off) and we clearly had broken up but still got along very well. She was dating this black football player but had broken up with him recently. We started hanging out again and what do you know? We hit it off again. The dream fast forwarded a year or two and we were discussing marriage but she said she wasn't ready for a commitment. The dream ended with me rolling up a garden hose so I wouldn't trip over it. The status of our relationship wasn't exactly cleared up either.

Maybe time will tell in a few years in another dream?

In both dreams, the girl looked like a mix of Cameron Diaz and one of my brother's ex-gfs.

I dreamed that I built a huge adult-sized jungle gym and that every day after work, weather permitting, I would climb up and add a bit more to it.

If you aren't familiar with the term "jungle gym", here is a sample of a normal sized jungle gym:

Image

In the dream, the jungle gym covered several acres and was as much as 200 feet high. It also had platforms at random locations and even a fully operable bathroom near the top.

When I woke up, I was ready to go start building it.

Now that is an awesome dream. Imagine if that were real...

"Eric76, get down right now and eat supper!"
"Hold on, I'm going to the bathroom!"

Last night's dream:

I don't remember much about this, but I do remember is I was being interviewed by my uncle, who works for the Catholic newspaper and his protegee, who if you've seen a billboard for Alaska Airlines is a brunette wearing glasses & has a smirk on her face.

She asked me a question, of which I didn't answer her, and punched me in the face.

That's so cool! I like when that happens, or when someone I only know from dreams turn up in more dreams.

One thing that is quite strange, at least to me, is some dreams I have of the Houston area even though I hadn't lived there in about twenty years.

One recurring dream is about going to a particular restaurant for a specific seafood dish -- some kind of chicken fried red snapper -- that I've never eaten or even heard of. In the dream, it is a quite expensive dish. And the only two restaurants in the area where the restaurant is in my dream were a pizza place and a Chinese restaurant, neither of which served anything like that.

Another is about the neighborhood where I lived for most of my time there. In my dreams, there are a number of stores in the neighborhood which was actually all residential except for a couple of convenience stores along the major streets on the edges. The streets in the dreams also don't match the streets in the neighborhood.

More adventuresome was a recurring dream I had in my teens and twenties was that I was flying an airplane to northern Canada. In the dream, once I got to about Nebraska, the aviation charts were marked as "unexplored territory" for the most part. I suppose that reflected that at that time, the furtherest north I had ever been was about half way up across Kansas and so I had little knowledge about what the land was like. The dreams made me feel like I was an aviation pioneer and the first person to explore places like Nebraska, Minnesota, and much of Canada.

walking out onto a semi-frozen lake, realizing I was about to fall through, turning around and leaping from ice to ice over open patches until I got to a rock and then to firm ground.
