Dear seaturtleisland,

It is called 'El Dia De Las Muertos' in Mexico.... They create elaborately-decorated skulls made out of crystallized sugar, and have puppet shows with eerie skull-faced marionettes...it is a fascinating custom!
The artwork for this celebration is remarkable!

The ability to change one's own gender at will.

There are animals that do that. Several types of fish and amphibians will have members change to a different gender if the population of said gender is too low.

Or they just cannot make up their minds.

A ghost, not knowing they are already dead, fearing for their life when the living invade their home.

And the ghosts hide shaking under the stairs and in attics, hoping the living will never notice them.

Fickle clovers lay apart. At a loß, you sneeze. It’s not like you’ve spent the last decade diving into salmon oil, is it? Notwithstanding smoldering hesitations, you force yourself to keep going. The leap is long overdue. And it’s covered in dew, too.

You yawn, staring at the pit. It yawns back at you. Something glistening at the bottom captures your gaze. Even this sudden mist resembles your own moist breath. Was that a golden nose? You gasp as two sharp ivory tips make their way through the porridge-thick fog of your distraught memories.

You can’t let your mind meß around. The foreboding glitter is still down there, bewitching your tired consciousneß, spurring you forward …

When I wake up I am in a Twilight Zone episode & I am one of several toys stuck in an enclosed building and it is not a building at all, but a child's toy box.

I'm rather old fashioned - I'd better not go barter-shopping with an old cellar.
