Judging from the picture of Belle, her jaws wer almost-but-not-quite as formidable as Bridget's.

at least she could actually fully close her mouth.

I am sure that that whatever-it-is would appreciate a plump, tasty terrapin rather than a tiny, unappetizing little mouse.

Like you said, we terrapins are plump. Bad for the cholesterol. Now, a tiny little dormouse on the other hand is a good little snack and much healthier.

Of course, leprechauns are bigger than both of us... I shall miss you, Enviro!

Nah, we are small and nimble. Not at all a filling alternative.

Things with shells are always popular with gourmets. The bigger and plumper the better.

Served with olive oil and lemon juice. Our monster's lips are salivating with anticipation.

Mice and dormice make great appetizers, served on little sticks or skewers and dipped in a suitable sauce.

shell may be hard to pick out of the teeth though, after digging into them. no matter, i shall use a spine as a toothpick.
