I was going to talk about my problems more in this thread. Talk about the misadventures of being disabled. But so far just don't feel inclined.

I would be interested....to be honest.

I like learning about people.

Pink Floyd started when I was a tiny, autistic kid.

I used to talk about myself more. I'll always answer questions.

The 70's was a great time for music and bands.

I’m glad you have good parents who want the best for you. And that you trust in the therapy you are receiving.

I sense that you use a wheelchair sometimes...but that you can walk short distances.

You have speech, but are disinclined to use it, owing to dyspraxia. You might use an AAC device.

Sigh. I'm a big Pink Floyd fan but couldn't get into their earlier stuff (Atom Heart Mother, Ummagumma, etc.) I'm also a big Genesis fan but couldn't get into their earlier stuff (Nursery Crimes, etc).

It's kinda funny, then, how Phil Collins, and especially Peter Gabriel, became some of my favorite artists of all time. I even collect bootlegs of Peter Gabriel concerts as well as Genesis shows around the time of Abacab and Duke.

My walking is slow and I have a tendency to wander off, it helps everyone if I'm just in a chair if a lot of walking is involved. I have the nonverbal-ness that comes with autism, plus the apraxia of speech and selective mutism. Since I can type I use a text to speech app. Although I usually just use texting to communicate like most everyone else.

KZOK has "Think Pink" Monday nights and sometimes plays earlier stuff which I don't like much. I guess their music changed from the 60's to the 70's. I only know a little bit of Genesis, Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel.

I like some of Pink Floyd's 60s stuff. They formed about 1965, when I was 4 years old.

Originally Syd Barrett was the song writer. But due to drugs and a mental disorder he had to leave the band. Eventually Roger Waters and David Gilmour (who replaced Barrett) had to start writing songs. So the band transitioned from Barrett to Barrett-like to Waters/Gilmour. Their real breakthrough was their 1973 Dark Side of the Moon masterpiece.

I listened to it and liked it. It seems sophisticated like most PF stuff. But not the the kind of tune or lyrics that would replay in my head. Then again maybe I need to give that more time.

Speaking of Time, that's a good song.

That one sounds a bit less sophisticated to me. Seems Roger wasn't too pleased with his academic experience in primary school.

I like the part when the teacher reads the "poems" out loud and they're the lyrics for Money. Rubbish laddie!

I think I want to buy a dwarf bunny. There are little cottontails all over the place where I live, and I think they're really cool. This looks like a really good deal. https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/pet/ ... 53957.html
But I should probably think it over more. I would imagine they are an easy pet to look after. I wonder if their cage gets smelly and how often it needs to be cleaned.
