Well this is kind of after the fact, but some a**hole in my state shot a Bald Eagle...shot it dead. Last I heard they are trying to find the perpetrator but that makes me angry. I mean Bald Eagles are not even common in Colorado, and that bird could have had a baby...I know bald eagles usually mate for a long time and it can be devastating if one of the Eagle parents is killed like the chick may not survive with only one parent to look after it. For all I know this a**hole not only shot this Eagle but may have ended the life of an eagle chick as well.
