Why is it that when you have holes in your jeans, it's considered fashionable, but when you have holes in any other article of clothing, it's considered trashy and you have to throw it away?

There's nothing wrong with what The Kinks were wearing in those pictures that were taken, in the January of 1964. Irronically, out of all the clothes that they posed in, that style suits me the best.
