I notice I'm the only one doing this.
If I'm in a waiting room, everyone else is on their phone or reading a magazine.
I'm happy to sit there and look at the colour of the walls, the gloss on the trim, the different people and what they're wearing, the texture of the carpet etc.
I may just be weird.

haha, don't believe I've ever been called a thinky person before.
I think a lot of my looky-type weirdness is visual stimming.

You could write one of those stories that you like writing.
Have you tried writing a story about one of your characters?I use the notes on my phone.

Wow Skyrim is why I brought a $600 video card 
Game is amazing, don't know why I stopped playing, I started playing it less and less then started a new game over the network when special edition came out but stopped when I took my server thingy apart and now my GTX 980 is back and better then ever before with better vitalization code, better optimization and better networking cables and the game looks divine. I will officially have no life this month, I have a family size thing of tea, a large bucket of sugar, and I have a queue of snickerdoodles lulz
I don't know why I didn't play it when I working on my server, I actually had a bare minimum setup on my desk and played Doom that way a few times
Still running a $2000+ computer loose on a desk doesn't exactly calm my nerves 
Goodbye, I won't kill myself, I'll just commit digital suicide and stop meeting basic needs so I can be someone else in a game

Why do you need to be productive?
It's a feeling of... my self worth comes from the stuff I can do, have done, and if I do nothing for too long, I start thinking about things that dont need to be thought about.
And why write stories if you can't write them down? Besides, I've been having writers block for the story I really wanna continue.
Because you're developing your imagination.
Who knows, might even help with writers block (it does).
For some ungodly reason, whenever I write in the car, my stories would come out seening like some wacky crack trip.

I would like a steam game to play Undertale, but I could just get a cartridge. (Do NES undertale cartridges even exist!?)
