Good news re. the Area Governor position. I will get credit for my service in 1996-97 in that office. I found my Toastmasters I.D. badge indicating my service and will get credit after all. I am one step closer to the top award, although not the way I necessarily wanted to accomplish it. Once again, I'm taking second best, but I guess it's better than nothing.

I had a huge, massive sore throat come on when I was in Walmart. I was going to buy some metallic scrap booking markers to add a little flair to my art and the next thing I knew, I was running to the cold & flu section to get some Hall's cough drops. It didn't surprise me, though. I was having cold chills during my hot bath yesterday evening.

I blame it on those England World Cup t-shirts that I touched. There weren't any Germany ones, so I leafed through the England ones. The sore throat came on 30 seconds later.
