Finding Clouse sleeping next to me on my bed (not physically of course.... would love it if that was the case...). Makes me feel loved and cared for.

Thanks blooie & fluffy! I'm not afraid to leave the house, just rarely see the point, being a misfit and all. Last night my mom needed a bodyguard to go to the store with her after dark, so that was my reason!

Today I am happy for... People being kind and patient with me, despite my shortcomings.

I baked my first-ever loaf of bread, from scratch, using my grandmother's recipe. Am currently eating a slice of it slathered with butter. Do not care if I get crumbs down my shirt or butter in my hair, do not care if people look at me funny for that, just enjoying the heck out of warm bread and butter.

Where I am, it's currently 19F. A warm slice of fresh-baked buttery bread sounds like absolute heaven. Envy :-)

I'd try smushing some through my monitor in your direction, but I already know that's going to result in needing a new monitor or at least a serious cleaning. I shall devour the next slice in your name as a poor second best.

got a chance to get out alone, and take a walk... maybe six miles. went shopping, and on the way back, missed the bus... but ended up finding a dollar along the way, and out walked the next by about fifteen minutes. upon arriving home, the cool foods bought were still cool to the touch.

Kids had a long nap.

Also their dad dropped by to give liquid melatonin for the elder one, very kindly, and they were so surprised and happy to see him. The elder one was showing off his new book to his dad.
