when i was 15, while trying to scratch ear with q-tip, cotton swab got stuck.

tried and failed to get it out.

feared hearing loss. deaf.

for the next couple months, could hear ringing (in ear), while in quiet room.

after that, nothing

34 years old and still not deaf

no symptoms

not only that, but suspect my hearing is much more sensitive and much better than precious lil "most people's".

very often do precious lil "most people" have the nerve to say "huh" and "what" to me.

very rarely do i do the likewise to them

although maybe that has to do with they speak louder than me

some precious lil "people" talk way too loud and way too much.

but, oh well

that's just precious lil "people" being precious lil "people"

it ain't illegal

maybe i ought to be glad that, at 34 years of age, precious lil "people" have not yet raped or exterminated me
