Also, that haunted tin shack was terrifying! 8O
Ok, it wasn't...

How's this for terrifying? At least there's no lines, and it looks like a cozy place for a chat...

Various olives and anchovies for sale:

Image

And a close-up of this stall:

Image

A menu board displaying beer and snack foods. Cumberland sausage, cheesy potatoes (in a Lancashire cheese sauce), mushrooms and parched peas are the snacks available, with Hawkshead Brewery's Lakeland Lager being the beer (the beer isn't a lager but is actually a blonde ale):

Image

The Manchester Winter Ale House stand. This was a pub selling four cask ales and some bottles, one of the cask beers being the strong J. W. Lees Moonraker (7.3%). This is a shot of the wall on the side of the bar, showing advertising for CAMRA's forthcoming National Winter Ales Festival that will take place next month:

Image

This lot are actually a German company selling various British fudges, nougats, truffles and toffees at markets across Western Europe - including, as in this example, in the UK itself:

Image

This was shashlik with chopped potatoes, purchased at the German (?) food stand. They were also selling the Polish (?) bigos as well as a few other things besides. Didn't much like this- humoungous pieces of meat with a few bits of mushroom inside it. It wasn't cheap either; think this came to around £6:

Some more? OK, no problem.

Two photos of various European and speciality cheeses from one of the European Cheesehouse stalls:

Chorizo salamis (?) being sold:

Various confectionery at this self-service stall:

Cupcakes were being sold at this stall. They were also a running a competition for free cupcake lessons (as can be evinced from the clipboard at the bottom-right of the frame):

Image

A branch of Eat. in the centre of Manchester. Eat. now has more than 110 branches around Great Britain these days. I've eaten there a few times too:

Image

And fairy ornaments for sale:

Drove through the Portuguese Bend slide area today, on the coast south of LA - it's the only road I know of where you can drive though a landslide-in-progress.

Image

The entire area is slipping into the ocean at a rate of about 3m/year so they are constantly having to repair the road - note the formerly-straight lines on the highway and the above ground utility pipes on the right.

One more from me.

We spotted this driving down Deepdale Road in Preston and came round to have another look. Basically some guy in a car knocked these over. The police were there with him too.
