I would consider it an achievement in recognizing the validity of mental health issues if ppl were more accepting of those who don't drink alcohol given the prevalence of persons raised in families where the abuse of alcohol has led it to it being seen as a major turn-off.

I returned a book.

I hung my clothes outside when the washer finished because today is sunny and warm in Portland.

Seconded. Not too many other people seem to understand my threads.

I'm so flattered, I don't know what to type. Thank you for your kind words. You made my day. :D

Planted two new mango trees in the ground.

Killed a spider and it only took 10 minutes for me to stop shaking.

Blazingstar, I love mangoes! :P

Me, too. I got another mango tree in the ground today (my accomplishment). I have six mature fruiting mango trees. They suffered disastrously in Hurricane Irma, but have come back great this year. I have producing: Angie, Jean Ellen, Maha chanook, Pickett, Kent, and a Carrie offspring.

Just curious, why did you kill the spider? Most are harmless.

Not where I live! We have quite poisonous ones - I can't tell them all apart. Plus, I don't have a spider catcher. Plus, I'm terrified of them. :)

I'm insanely jealous of all your mango trees! Do they taste much different when they ripen on the tree as opposed to being bought from the store, like bananas do?

Fresh mangoes taste completely different from the ones in the stores, at least in the US. In order to import mangoes into the US, the mangoes are picked green AND put through a hot water bath. Store mangoes taste terrible.

Fresh mangoes are wonderful. And each variety has different texture, taste and aroma. I am insanely in love with mangoes.

Sorry about your spiders. We have only two seriously venomous here and they are pretty easy to recognize.

In the summer, I let the first spider take up residence in the upper corner of the living room. All others must leave. In time, she's got a huge web in that corner and she takes all the mosquitoes etc. I have no bugs at all. When it snows, she's gone and I vacuum that corner till next spring.
