A room with 15 autistic kids would be the room from hell.

How is it sensory?

No strobe lighting, not many people, presumably a bit quieter.

However I sent them email after email explaining my situation as an autistic adult. She said she'd do something.

A sensory room was my suggestion. A bit proud that there is one at all although I'd like credit for it. Nothing public just a 'thank you, we have taken your suggestion on board and have a small sensory room with an intent to expand' via email would be sufficient.

And they have light up games and stuff which will trigger people's sensitivities. It's like they don't really understand autism although they're trying. I like how much they're trying, esp in other areas but it's all around the kids. But they don't get it.

I'm not cross. I love them. But this is an eg of them not getting it because society in general doesn't get it. And I'm peeved at them for not sending that thank you email when it was my idea.

A thanks would be nice! I've noticed NTs often don't seem grateful.

I'm starving, but I've been to the dentist and my mouth is too numb for me to eat yet :(

Altogether it will be two fillings, two extractions, and a crown. Today was one of the fillings, a discussion about the

crown, and some filing down of the supper sharp bits. It wasn't too bad bad anesthetic lasted till 3.30 so I couldn't

have lunch till then otherwise I would have bitten my lip and cheek. They said to chew on the other side but the

filling is so large this was difficult to do.

So because of the crown I'm going to have to pay band 3 which is now £269 instead of band 2 which was £62.

If you can't chew I suggest you get the necessary calories from a bottle of wine. It also has analgesic properties... win/win.

Only the one bottle, I'm not into excess.

Ah, this one looks about right.

Hello all.

Thought I would drop by on this lovely sunny day.

Fluffy: please look at the NHS Low Income Scheme.

You may be entitled to a HC2 and get help with prescriptions - I did this once and it was relatively easy.

It will save you a huge amount on dental costs as well as prescriptions.

I like how the grown version of Om Nom speaks with a Cockney accent.
