Anubis promptly had his infiltrated spies turn on their fellow SuperPedes. Simply no match for Anubis' energy virus.

The Imperium and the Covenant forces retreated and led the SuperPedes to a place where a bomb was detonated, it generated a black hole and sucked the SuperPedes and much of Anubis's forces in.

The Superpedes, unfortunently, were breed specifically to derive energy from such a charge. The "regular" Pedes are getting nervous and start a campaign to capture Anubis's cannon to see if they can make it work effectively.

Anubis fleed his central command base and continued with his plans elsewhere, in the safety of the warp.

As that was happening, the Imperium and Covenant forces were being driven back, they fought fiercely, they traded shots with Anubis's forces and didn't give up. Many were dying.

With Anubis beaten back and the Imperium civilization annihilated, they set their sights on their creators. The Pedes and the SuperPedes would soon engage in an apocalyptic battle for dominance. The SuperPedes also continue to spy on the others...

Anubis descended upon Terra with full force, and awoke the Emperor of mankind from his rest.

Unknown to the SuperPedes, that was just false information sent by SuperPedes that were captured by the Imperium.and Anubis's forces were immediatley beaten back but just barely, there was a mass evacuation, many ships were destroyed but there were still many survivors, the Covenant were still around too.

Anubis' forces held the Superpedes back as the final stage of the virus arose... pure energy warriors.

Even though Holy Terra fell, the Emperor was safe and it still had a strong force, many Space Marines were still around too. When they evacuated, they rendevoued with the Covenant at High Charity.

The Pedes and the SuperPedes fought a bloody, brutal war against each other. Since they assimilated some aspects of the Imperium forces and technology, they could barely be considered a "Pede" any longer. At the same time, preperations were made by the SuperPedes to capture Anubis's virus to be made ready for assimilation...

Anubis immediately started reconstruction of the war-torn earth.

The Imperium started to build huge space stations, and with the knowledge gained from fighting the enemys they had, the space stations were very defensible and were the strongholds of humanity, they also had the capability to travel.

The SuperPedes were detected by Anubis' rampaging forces, and immediately brutalised.

After a series of crushing defeats, the Pedes decided that they needed to move their hive mind away so that they cannot be assimiliated by the Supers. Meanwhile the SuperPedes sent an expeditionary force directly toward Anubis for immediate capture of the virus...

Anubis sent legions of the new pure energy warriors to engage the SuperPedes.
