Using your non-dominant hand for mundane tasks, like eating or opening doors, for two weeks can improve your self-control.

Today I learned about [url top app development companies in Ukraine[/url] and am glad about it. I was just looking for professional mobile app developers for my business.

Ultramarine is a deep blue color pigment which was originally made by grinding lapis lazuli into a powder. The name comes from the Latin ultramarinus, literally "beyond the sea", because the pigment was imported into Europe from mines in Afghanistan by Italian traders during the 14th and 15th centuries.

There are people out there who don't know that giraffes have horns. They're short, stubby, non-threatening horns, but they *are* horns. They usually have two, but I've real giraffes shown close-up on TV that had at least three horns and it looked pretty weird.

I wonder why giraffes even have horns, anyway?

^The giraffe's “horns” however, are not antlers — they are permanent outcroppings of bone from the skull, called “ossicones.” ... Thus, the “horns” of the giraffe may present a strong example of a structure which no longer serves a purpose, because the antlers these horns were meant to anchor no longer exist.

The expression cross the Rubicon refers to a decision made by Julius Caesar. In 49 B.C., Julius Caesar was the governor of Gaul, which meant he had to give up his power in Rome. He was expressly forbidden by the Roman Senate to bring his troops back to Italy.

Some guy caught a piranha while fishing at a lake in Vancouver B.C. here in Canada. They even said that was the second time someone had discovered one in the lakes!

It was very likely a pet piranha that someone released into the lake. I've heard of people releasing their goldfish, which is really stupid because they're an invasive species, but a piranha swimming around in a lake in Canada is *really* unusual. The piranha probably wouldn't have survived for much longer because it's fall and the lakes are cooling off. I read goldfish can hibernate under the ice in winter if the water is deep enough.

Almost any warm-blooded animal can get rabies, but it seems to affect certain species more often than others.
