I'm a Celtic fan.

We lost our greatest ever player yesterday* which is why I'm hesitant to bring up past niggles I've had with them. But it is quite annoying that they didn't bear it in mind. Especially because one of the charitable aims they have at the moment is making things better for autistic people in wider society - they ought to begin with making the stadium fully accessible to us (us meaning autistic people).

*sure feels like a few days though

...Who was that player?

Billy McNeill

Yeah, Billy McNeill. Only King Billy, Cesar. I notice most of us youngsters are misspelling that as Caesar and I don't think it's a bad thing - he'd mind because it's hero worshipping but he did conquer Europe. In a way I approve of (I'm anti imperialist, I'm cliché about a lot of things...)

What gets me is I was watching the headlines of the EPL last night and there was the Manchester Derby and they didn't say anything about a minute's silence. But he managed Man City. I hope there was one.

I watched most of the game but missed the first 15 minutes so can't help there

I'm thinking they must have done.

Maybe it's like when - hopefully in the distant future from now - Dalglish dies, I assume the coverage will be about Liverpool rather than about us.

One thing I do think is ridiculous is people saying the friendship between him and Greig wouldn't happen today. There is very little reason why Sinclair and Defoe can't be friends. If they're (deliberately) not friends then that's pathetic.

It's maybe more true online but that's why I stick to Reddit rather than Twitter. That's fans who stick to 'bubbles' on Twitter. Not players.

Everyone seems stupid on Twitter not just Scottish football but worldwide politics. I don't know why it lends itself to it but there's a great deal of 'bubbles' and people pushing more and more extreme views.

Most of my friends growing up supported Rangers and I had a good gang of mates.

My brother's in-laws live in Ibrox. He goes to Rangers games when he goes to visit them.

I used to be underweight and ate snack-a-jacks at a rate which was kind of unhealthy as I filled up on them.

They're delicious. Meant to just be 'diet' food though.

I just eat twice as many.

...Thank you to the question-snswerers.
What American snacks, generic name or brand name, are Snack-a-Jacks comparable to?

I love vinegar. I love vinegar anything :) My dad used to steal my chips so I put more and more vinegar on them so he'd stop. Helps that I initially liked them to begin with - when I was little I was obsessed with silverskin onions.

Then again...I can't deal with the taste of coffee, either...…..

I must have a funny palate

Do they still package fish-n-chips in newspaper where you are?

Kraftie, I'm the same with that one. In fact there's a funny/embarrassing story about me accidentally eating wet coffee beans (not regular coffee, like damp coffee beans) on the 'why are you upset today' thread which goes to show how much I think it's bitter and gross...

No, because of 'ink poisoning'. It's a shame. I don't know how true it is that you can get ink poisoning from it. I used to like reading the old papers/the papers I'd never usually buy.

Fish and chips in newspaper was generally for eating at home anyway, they still have them in polystyrene trays for eating out. I have synaesthesia where I feel cold if I hear polystyrene. For my NT cousin, it makes her feel sick when she hears it.

Not sure. Snack-a-jacks are rice cakes, round and just short of 2 inches in diameter. They come in packets rather like potato chips and have flavours of salt and vinegar, sweet chilli, cream cheese and chives, and caramel. I only ever eat the salt and vinegar and I'm totally addicted. Sweet chilli is also nice but the cream cheese is disgusting. If I don't have at least one packet a day I am very unhappy. I like the texture more than potato-based stuff.

Just checked... they're made by Walkers in the UK... don't think you can get them in the US

Nah it's just a personal thing. Long, football related, convoluted story.

I'd been doing ok til Snack-A-Jacks.

They also own Monster Munch, it turns out.

Think Smiths are ok though?

I think you are only supposed to Boycott Walkers if you are UKIP or hate Brexit because they want Gary Lineker sacked for his views.

Or hate Leicester...

In case anyone thinks it's political, it really isn't.

And of course I hate UKIP.

I hate Leicester... they nicked Richard III's skeleton and buried it there rather than returning it to York.
