Let me elaborate on this a little. It is indeed true that there is no mention of cats in the whole Bible. We have to resort to the Deuterocanonical writings to find one verse (Baruch 6:22) where cats are mentioned with "bats, swallows and birds" as sitting with impunity on the images of heathen gods. Now, for the Roman Catholics, the book of Baruch is Scripture together with some other books which were removed from the Protestant Bible, but this is another story.

I would have thought that Protestants would have wanted Baruch in their Bible, especially those particular verses.
They always felt that the images, icons, statues revered by Catholics were in truth, idols, and they would have loved having those verses to quote!

Well, I'm a protestant who quoted those verses, so I don't really see any problem here
Of course, strictly speaking, I cannot claim to have quoted from the Bible, instead I must use the awkward expression Deuterocanonical writings.

Often times I go to a store and they don't have what I want and I'm like YOU BASTARDS, who bought this, and why don't you have more of it in stock, and then I buy something else similar to the product I wanted.

I find the Biblical Samson to be a very tragic character. At first he tried to defend the Israelites (his family) but he got kidnapped because his lust overwhelmed him and he had to go out in a blazing suicide to make things right.
