^ ok, good.

every time your mind goes to dark thoughts, cut it off.
Tell it, "I see where you're trying to send me, but I'm not going there."
Let your thoughts know who's boss.

Thank you, I'll try.

^ Yes, please.
Do as I say, not as I do.
But to be fair, I don't stay down for as long now.

Got any funny videos to watch?
Another thing I notice when I'm down is I tend to gravitate towards all the depressing stuff/emo music etc.
That just makes it worse.
So I try to watch/listen to uplifting/nature/funny stuff when I can.

I don't really watch videos on my phone, because if I forget to switch over to wi-fi, which I sometimes do, it eats up data super quickly. I can, however, find some more uplifting songs to listen to instead of ones that fit my mood.

How people can chat away about their feelings without melting down or shutting down.

I can understand why Persona 3 is rated Mature, but not so much Persona 4...

9 days after surgery, I have done away with my pain medications. After all, what's a little pain other than a reminder that you're still alive?

Due to the nearness of Christmas/family gatherings and all that, I've been thinking how it's still only about a year since I learned I had another cousin, in her forties now with a child of her own. She was the daughter of one of my uncles with an old girlfriend. My uncle must have told her more about my family as she's contacted me and my siblings on social media, trying to get to know us.
She seems really nice; I doubt she had any ulterior motive bigger than curiosity, but my mother is strangely hostile towards her.

I'm writing a paper on Autism for my child psych class and I wrote another paper on it two years ago, and I really, really wish I had a copy of that so I could use it to help me. I've gone through all of my old flash drives and found a lot of stuff that made me feel sad, but no paper.

This thread viewtopic.php?t=357115 , like many articles and blogs before it, it's as if my whole developmental life plan for myself is actually... An Aspie Life walkthrough for myself, before I ever read any said articles or blogs.

Seriously. Am I autistic in the past life who willed myself to know it in this life?, Am I being lucky, or that my 'intuition' and internal abstract thinking got it right? :| My avoidance on masking and knowing why it's bad, my priority on executive functioning of adaptation and adoption of ways, why I worked out on my sensory system and overcoming supposedly temporary problems, the knowledge I sought of accounts of humanity, the human mind, culture, and environment, etc…

Still, I'm keeping my guard up. I'd bet on being lucky. Internal/abstract thinking would be on second place, but I'd put a lower stake on it.

How I should start putting up my xmas decorations. But since the world will be nuked soon, what's the point? A bunch of tacky ornaments that symbolize love and peace are not going to take away the real-life terror and hate.

Very intense suicidal thoughts for no apparent reason, when you don't even really want to die at the moment, are scary.

Up until the past week or so, I've only really had them when I do want to die, or strongly feel it would be better for everyone else if I did, neither of which are the case right now.
