Yeah, I drew it myself. It's a cartoon version of myself, but I don't think I could wear that many bold colors at once.

I thought it might be, mainly because she has blue in her hair, and I saw you recently posted a picture of yourself with blue in your hair.

Thank you, Sylkat. :D

How have you been, Jess? Sylkat?

Not bad. But it was rainging LOTS earlier, then I got annoyed about how the bus i needed was either late or it went missing and the next bus came, and how 2 of the buses I didn;t need came before that.

Dear English Jess, Buses?
I take two to get to work at night, and two to get home in the morning.....
On weekends, the two routes I depend on are cut back to once an hour.
The buses here are $2.50 one way, or $5.00 for an all- day pass, or monthly passes are available.
But I never learned to drive, and gas is over $4.00 a gallon, so I count my blessings!

Sylkat

Yes, I get buses, because I'm 15. And becase I'm English, I'll have to wait till I am 17, not 16, to learn to drive. Not that I really want to drive, but it would be a lot of help for me when I'm an adult.

I've been practicing a little bit. I still have a little trouble with parallel parking, but that's about it. I also left the car in neutral once, thank goodness I noticed before I got out.

I don't think I've ever parallel parked before. It wasn't a requirement on my state's driving exam.

I tihk I'll be too shy to want to drive because everyone else does it, but I want to prove that I can, cause otherwise, my parents will think that I can't cope.

Don't worry about it. Cars are easier to control than I'd expected, and driving is very easy after only a couple tries.

Cars do what you want them to. As long as you know what you're doing, it's actually really easy.

But what about all the other ones on the road, constantly moving and stopping, and other things that they do?

There are lights and signs for that, and everyone obeys the rules they convey.

For an absolute beginner, though, I would suggest driving in an empty parking lot first to get a feel for the car, and then driving on an empty (or near-empty) road to practice staying in lane.

Just follow the rules and keep an eye out, and you'll be fine.

In the meantime, you can read up on the common traffic rules and signals.
