I was the same until I changed to silicone hydrogel lenses. My old contacts allowed 16% transference of oxygen to the eye and these new ones allow 100% through.

They sound nice CosmicRuss. I have a serious problem with my eyes drying out due to some RX (Amrix) I'm taking and I have to put Optive lubricant eye drops in them many times throughout the day. I'll ask my doctor about them when I go in for a check-up too. Thank you. :)

I'd considered implants but they're even more expensive than laser treatment - and since I'm too long-sighted for that, and can afford neither anyway - that research came to a pretty quick end.

I hope you have success, Mr Moderator Cornflake [just noticed], congratulations on your appointment. :D
Why, thank you kind sir.

And just to remain on (or rather, regain) topic - I do wish I could claim this as one of mine but unfortunately it's not.

This is beautiful Cornflake. I love roads that wind through forests like that. Thank you for posting it. :)

Some say he was the best doctor but for the sheer fun value, you'd have to go a long way to beat Tom Baker.
8O I thought it was a picture of Mick Avory when he was older. I need to start wearing my glasses all the time again.

<--- Hates wearing glasses.

He does look a lot like Mick, though.

CHICO! :D

I thought Chico was a little smaller than that. hmm... Maybe I'm remembering a photo of him when he was still a puppy. He's still cute that's for sure. :D I love dogs as much as I love cats.
