I'm posting with tears in my eyes just saying I hope to be back soon.

I reapplied for Disability Living Allowance and they have cut it entirely after a decade - I have to go through the stress of finding legal help and facing new people and dredge up my past AGAIN. :cry:

I am back a few hours later having digested the letter and spoken to my family and even my MP via Twitter from the Labour conference in Liverpool. :roll:

I have so many grounds for appeal and even searching online I have found this is becoming a common practice to scare recipients of DLA. I am a fighter and thank you identity for your support, it means a lot to me.

Thanks Taupey, I've located a social worker to help me although I have to wait 14 days for the appointment. Nothing I can do, so I hope I feel up to posting for the time being and help take my mind off it.

I hope you feel up to posting too while all this is going on. It actually might be good to write about this some in the forums. This kind of thing also happens in the US and is one of my greatest fears. I hope this social worker that you have an appointment with in 2 weeks will be able to get the matter taken care of quickly and things are set right for you again.

I'm here for a little bit today, I have three other forums that I go to that I haven't been to lately that I want to stop in and check out as well.
