It was a busy day.

Bought a part for the kitchen faucet and fixed a leak.
Started a fire in the woodstove.
Did some loads of laundry.
Cleaned most of the bedroom including my half of the closet.
Made deviled eggs for the first time
Got my work clothes ready for tomorrow
Made a lentil stew and salad for six
Baked a dessert bread with the leftover lentils. Tasted a lot like banana bread.
Emptied and put away clean dishes and loaded dirties and started another load.
Got ready for bed.

I'm glad you had a productive day, Magna.

I cleaned all the bedrooms, washed bedlinens and towels, read five chapters, mitigated a Snap Chat crisis, bought Somersby Cider, walked my dog for an hour and watched three episodes of Parenthood.

I'll trade you the Snap Chats for some lentil bread.

Afterter a completely sleepless night, made myself presentable, left at 7:30 am and drove almost an hour to go to a 10-minute doctor's appointment that cost me 40 bucks co-payment. Luckily, they have an espresso bar at the clinic.

I had five appointments including my ophthalmologist, my investment banker and my chiropractor, then my osteopath and a hot stone massage. The last two were divine. 8)

In between I also went to the house my father built when I was a child, visited my childhood Sunday School, played with a five month old Golden Retriever, bought lilacs, and paid respects at my father's grave which is a happy thing for me rather than sad. When I returned home, two eagerly-sought books had arrived for me in the post!

It was a lovely day except for one woman wearing perfume which almost caused me a migraine.

Time to have breakfast as I've yet to eat.
