Has anybody come from the company yet?
I sent you a PM. It turns out that one of the detectors was old and defective, so because it was hardwired into the electricity it sent a signal to all the other ones. All fixed. No C02, and the bad one was removed for me. I'm all safe

.
Thanks, Korts.
I'm glad it's fixed. Those things can sure be a pain. A few years ago some of ours were beeping & they quit 1ce I took the batteries out. They started beeping months apart & putting new batteries in didn't make a difference. We just left it like that till we had an inspection & the woman pressed the test/reset button on one of the screwed up 1s & it didn't go off. She thought the wiring was screwed up because she didn't believe smoke alarms go bad. Maintenance came & replaced all of them & they all worked after that. Least year the carbon monoxide detector kept going off one one of them, we pressed the reset button & it stopped for abit & then started again. It kept doing that so I called property management & they called the fire department. The fire department took it down & said the carbon monoxide detector was broken. I told property management & maintenance replaced the smoke alarm. A couple weeks ago, another smoke alarm's carbon monoxide detector went off late at night. I pressed the reset button & it went off again after alittle bit. I called the fire department after a couple times of that. The fire department said the carbon monoxide detector was broken like the last one & they took it down. The woman who said smoke alarms don't go bad didn't have a damn clue what the hell she was talking about. These things are very problematic. I wonder if the neighbors smoking which comes into our place sometimes, screws them up.
What made me unhappy today is that it's kind of rainy. I walked my girlfriend to the bus stop so she could spend the weekend with her brother. I would of done some other walking after that but it was raining lightly on the way to the stop so I went home after she got on the bus. I made it back rite before the rain picked up.
Oh goodness, that's quite the ordeal! I can't imagine hearing it that often! My ordeal was maddening enough and it only lasted an hour! Thanks for sharing, Nick.
