When I was kid, and radios had analog dials, one could turn the turn all the way to the high end, place the radio on top of the television, next to the set top antenna (not touching), and pickup UHF stations on the TV, even though the television did not normally have UHF reception!
The cool thing was, even black and white television sets would display color artifacts from this old time FM radio/television hack.
This only worked with analog FM radios and analog televisions from the sixties and early seventies. It does not work with digital signals from the mid seventies onward.
