In France, the current culinary explosion is pizza à l'eau, sometimes with a side of seaweed or mushrooms.

A while back, some guy on Reddit told me I should try ligma balls. I get the impression he was joking, but I bought some ligma balls off Ali Express and I find they really help with my joint pain. Different sized ligma balls seem to help for different parts of the body, so I eventually got hold of some raw ligma and began sculpting balls of my own. It's been quite a journey, and it all started with a mean-spirited joke on the internet.

When I was kid, and radios had analog dials, one could turn the turn all the way to the high end, place the radio on top of the television, next to the set top antenna (not touching), and pickup UHF stations on the TV, even though the television did not normally have UHF reception!
The cool thing was, even black and white television sets would display color artifacts from this old time FM radio/television hack.

This only worked with analog FM radios and analog televisions from the sixties and early seventies. It does not work with digital signals from the mid seventies onward.
