"Husband" and "father" are two of the most unenviable positions that any man can be in, apart from "slave", which is still very common in the western world.

My Unpopular opinion is that I want to be a billionaire or on the Forbes 400 by the time I am 100 if I make it that long.

Modern music sounds too pristine.

I like to dub the sound of a blank cassette tape playing into the background of my recordings when I'm done just so that the silences aren't quite dead silent. I've got similar recordings of an LP playing and of VHS tape noise for future use.

Even though I don't use vintage gear for production my goal is to get something that sounds more like 80s or 90s era independent recordings. I hate how modern metal sounds. :eew:

No one on WP is as "special" or "unique" as people can delude themselves into thinking they are. No one on WP should have their ego hit because someone states that fact to them.

Wearing a mask should be made compulsory permanently in all countries including kids and babies with the violators heavily fined ($1000 for first offense).

I've been stuck in my apartment much more this summer than I've ever been in the winter, even during the lockdowns. I just do not want to go out until it's around 15 degrees outside. I've been getting really restless, but on the plus side I've taken up writing again. I've written three whole fanfics of Animal Crossing and published them on DeviantArt. And I even added illustrations.

Modern metal production is sterile and homogeneous. It's way too safe and dull. There is no story or journey to song writing, it seems to be based on brutality or solely rhythm, it's all too superficial and immediate. One of lifes big disappointments is what has happened to metal.
