We got a letter like Wednesday that maintenance was coming Saturday & Sunday to do some construction & they were starting at 9. They didn't know what time or what day they would come. I went downstairs at 9 yesterday to wait around & I waited till about 4;30(then went to RiteAid), I went downstairs today at 9 & they didn't come till 2. They were here an hour & all they did was install a railing on the stairs on the side of the wall. Apparently not having a railing on that side was a code violation the fire marshal noticed. We've been here 6 years & had inspections before & it was never a big deal so I don't know why it was suddenly a problem. I keep having to get up early lately because of people coming here(or are supposed to be coming here) & to wait for packages. I should go to bed real soon because I'll have to be up tomorrow to wait for a package.

That doesn't sound nice :(
Keep an eye on your BP though. Fluctuations like that are normal but if it continues you should see a doctor.
Mine was something like 187 / 105 when I had my stroke. (Although that was because of the stroke, not causing it).

You’re a nice guy, Blackic.

What’s making you feel this way?

Maybe we at WP could ease the pain a bit?

Alcohol might could help in the moment if you only drink enough to get a slight buzz, NO getting drunk. My girlfriend's psychologist actually suggested she drink a little wine before bed to help relax her mussels & help her sleep. That suggestion was after she tried LOTS of meds. Beta-blockers might help blackicmenace. They can help lower blood-pressure & some like Inderal/Propranolo are sometimes used to help anxiety.

I take Propranolol to prevent headaches, lower anxiety and regulate my BP. I have a congenital cardiac disorder and I find the medication helpful. It can also prevent angina. (Just my personal experience).

Hugs to everyone suffering from anxiety. I have had those headaches and chest pains, too. Not fun.

Today Is Veterans' Day.

I am a veteran, and I have to go to work.

My wife is not a veteran, and she has the day off.

I would rather be at home with my wife.

Long list of things to do this morning. I have just sat down after doing my chores. So now I can enjoy my coffee.

f*****g a**hole workers blocking my driveway so they can drain the fire hydrant. I also don't get why it is wrong to hit people, because I felt like doing that today.

You're a veteran, Fnord? I didn't realise.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your service on Armistice Day and all the year through!
