Yeah. My job on either side is to hold the hooker up and to push the other team's props back. It's not easy unless you have a strong neck and shoulders. You also need to be able to use your core muscles properly.

So yeah. Lots and lots of push ups for me.

Have you ever joined a sport in school, Albirea?
Unfortunately not. I actually used to be pretty good at swimming in 4th grade or so, but that was when I was taking lessons. My mother made me choose between swimming and piano, and I chose piano (like a BOSS ) because I started playing piano at a much younger age. I would have joined the swim team if I'd kept at it, though.

Ahhhh, so that's why your Wikidot username is TightPropInScrum!
I've always wondered about that.

Hold up? As in actually hold them up, like, carrying them up?

Push ups. I can't do push ups.

My best scores on fitness tests have to do with flexibility.

I'm on my school's swim team! We get to laugh at other people once the weather gets really hot.

High-five! Me too!
I've always been much more flexible than most other people. I don't know why.

I'm not the most flexible person I know, but I'm quite flexible. I can't do splits though. Can you? :o

I can touch my knee with my forehead, even if just for a few seconds. I know someone who looks completely relaxed in that position and can hold it for a really long time.

Yep, with a little help from the locks. But the props do all the heavy lifting in the scrums.

Planks are better for you anyways. (Like push-ups, but you hold yourself up on only your elbows and toes, and try to hold that position.)

And I'm not very flexible.

Ah. Planks seem easier.

Maybe most people either strong or flexible. :chin:

I'm average when it comes to speed though.

I'm actually decent when it comes to how fast I can run. I can keep up with most of the backs. :chin:

I used to be able to do the splits all three ways when I was still taking ballet classes. Now, I can only do the splits vertically with my left leg in front. I can still hold my forehead to my knee for a pretty long time, though.

Ah, ballet classes.

I've never taken any class that would help me become more flexible though.

About seven minutes. My current mile is about 8 minutes.
