I've successfully avoided the flu this season (crossing fingers), but the season's not over yet.

The entire country is covered:

Flu shots are of uncertain value. Sometimes they may work, sometimes they may not. In some cases I suspect they may not be much better than a placebo. But they rarely cause much harm I guess.

There's this woman who works at a clothing store here.

If anyone is happy, she acts like they're weird for being happy. I've watched her do this to quite a few people, regardless of their level of happy.

She pulls back slightly, raises one eyebrow, leans her head away as though avoiding the happy lest it be contagious, and speaks patronizingly to them.

I wonder if she does this on purpose.

Yesterday I was at the pet store, and I saw some strange wormy moth larvae that I think they were going to feed to the lizards and stuff. They're called hookworms and they were a weird turquoise color. They looked pretty gross. :)
I just looked them up and learned they're turquoise because of the wheat-germ they're fed in labs. In the wild they're green because they eat leaves.

Sorry. I cannot simply just speak for others nor just speak of them.

I feel bad whenever someone gets mad at everyone here on WP, as if it's my fault or I'm solely responsible for how they feel.

of non-prescription things, tums works for burning and ginger helps nausea. for diarrhea, try bananas (not very ripe), rice, apple juice, and toast. for constipation - metamucil.

Apples are good for constipation. I must remember that.
