Definitely cheekier, but in the nicest possible way. It's very refreshing.

I absolutely love going on the plane
I used to be scared of it but now I love it
It's fantastic
My favourite part is the turbulence and the cabin crew and the pilot and just everything
And also we got a coconut macaroon on our way there and a bag of mini cheddars on our way back

The lady next to me got a bottle of white wine so she was well happy with that and then we made friends and her first name is the same as my middle name and I reckon she was probably perimenopausal at least

My icebreaker was to ask her "how was the wine" and that was it we just hit it off

I'll never see her again if course but I really enjoyed the banter with her for that short time. It was a kind of learning curve

I still get emails from a bank that I haven't had an account with in almost 2 years. I have no idea why

^ Likely somewhere in their Sacred Paper of Bureaucracy Brouhaha it was written they will send some marketing / whatever till you withdraw yer consent, which isn't automatically backed off while closing an account

^You'd think, but all the emails just say "your statement is available". Given that the statements can't possibly say anything it seems like just a waste of their automatic email system.

We play the levels game when we go to Amsterdam

It is a wonderful place to go but it completely messes with my dyslexia or what ever it is because to me it's like I've stepped through a mirror and I just don't know what way to look for traffic and bikes and trams and cod knows what when I'm out and it's so so so busy

So i made a levels game where absolutely everything is an obstacle that you have to overcome to pass the level and the harder the level (say it's a particularly difficult road to cross with no traffic lights) the more points you get (or coins). Then when you've won enough coins you get to buy a treat. So you might wanna go in a boat trip or something nice like that

So anyway it was a really fun game to play and it helped with my issue because it forced me to look for strategies to get passed the levels

am I waffling

I always wanted a Curly Wurly when I was a kid but if someone gave me one now; well I'd be grateful for it but I don't think it would give me the same joy as I would have got when I was a small child

I always thought that Curly Wurly's were hard on the teeth.

I feel like I've been learning to make all the right noises needed in order to sing along to "non je ne regrette rien" for the vast majority of my life but I've still not got it

I only just recently noticed that I'm different to other women/people

I don't know whether that makes me stupid or what but I'm kind of glad that I've noticed because it means I've at least found out something useful about myself

My therapist reckons that my autism is hidden under other conditions that I've been dealing with all my life and have gone untreated. so maybe as I start to improve in other areas my autism might start to be more noticeable

I think I'm noticing it but I'm not too sure if that's what it is really, to be honest but I feel very different but it's cool
