I don't know what your specific body part that was sore is, but I do know that the exercise outdoors clears up cognitive cobwebs, oxygenates the brain, makes stiff muscles looser while toning them, increases blood flow to general areas including the sore ones, generates endorphins, has multiple benefits. when I am working outside, my pains temporarily abate as well. then when I sit back down on my @$$ the stiff soreness returns.
