I'm still depressed and shocked that the man I was in a relationship with for months is deciding to go.

I can't let this get me down for long at all.
I can move forward.

A skunk, or 20 of them had a stink party outside while I slept. They got my shopping cart; I had to throw out the liner and 1/3 of the stuff in there, I have done 1 load of wash, one more load to go, a brand new fluffy scarf I JUST finished knitting may be trash. I have hosed the place down; still awful.

Where are head colds and stuffed sinuses when you need them?

My fuzzy grey bathmat is now my fuzzy peach bathmat. It was my first bleach disaster ever. :(

Dear Isabella,

Can you dye it in the washer?

I think that would be too much trouble because I have more pieces to the set that are still grey. They'd have to match exactly to look right. I'll just use my older set (turquoise) for now.

I'm sorry about your skunk nightmare! :( Skunk smell is absolutely unbearable for me. I'd want to die.

Dear Isabella,

I am sorry there seems no easy answer to the bath mat dilemma.

Thank you for the Skunk Disaster sympathy.

That wretched evil little Stench Factory With Fur did one thorough job. I wish him fleas forever, and the next time he approaches a female, may she bite his nose really hard.

I’m serious.

My patio STILL smells bad.

I hope you didn't have any pets sprayed.

It's incredible how powerful the stench is! I didn't believe how bad, how penetrating or how vile it could be until I experienced it for myself. It reminds me of burnt rubber with death on top. I feel for you. :(

Personally, I feel that what's more important than one's faith (or lack thereof) is how they treat their fellow man. I've met terrible Christians along with good Atheists. But if I'm being honest, I'm one of those stupidtrons. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those crazy fanatics that say the world is flat, evolution doesn't exist, or that God hates or condemns certain groups of people, but I have seen too many situations that could have ended up a whole lot worse than they did.

I agree.

I also differentiate between atheists and agnostics. Atheists believe strongly against all religions and some vociferously want all faith-based groups gone. Good examples are the fist years/decades of communism in Russia and the church burnings in Scandinavia.

Agnostic thought is that ‘I do not believe in God, but you follow your path “.

The PPR here at WP is another example; when I was here regularly, I saw repeatedly that a Christian member would start a thread for other believers to share their individual beliefs and viewpoints regarding their faith, and ALWAYS some aggressive atheist would start posting angry anti-religious, anti-Christian attacks.

Threads were locked (perhaps that was the goal), arguments were happening.

I don’t really understand, if a believer of any faith is not aggressively trying to convert people, why some are offended by others trying to live by their beliefs.
