Germans don't have a sense of humour was intended ironically, given that it was immediately followed by a clip of a German comedian. That's how that meme works. You say something with the intention of immediately undermining it for ironic, comedic effect.

You're only confused because you chose to not engage with the entire comment. That's on you, not me.

For a long time I thought I'd imagined or dreamed the game of bar billiards. I must have seen a table when I was very young and I remembered the holes in the middle of the table and the 'mushrooms' standing on the table. But then I never saw one again for such a long time and it was such a weird memory I thought I must have made it up myself.

I was quite surprised when I eventually found out it was a real game.
