I don't even know why this brought about a conversation about my poor judgement and inability to read people's intentions but whatever

Sometimes I'm more baffled than is normal for a person of my age

I can get a full day's worth of nose blowing on just one sheet of this Aldi kitchen roll

It's fantastic

I'll wait and see the next time it happens and I'll pull each word and sentence apart and match it with the context of the situation and see if the use of language from both parties is equal and hence therefore I shall draw my own very single minded and arrogant conclusion from my own very bias and unevenly weighted experiment

And if you can make head or tail of that lot then you're smarter than you look

I like puzzles sometimes, so I'll have a go. I think it means (something like): the next time somebody gets pretentious with language, you'll analyse it and try to prove that they've done it, but you think it might not prove much because it won't be scientific enough.

I think that's at least a crude grasp of what you said. It was hard work figuring it out and I couldn't have done it in real time, and I might have got it wrong, so I might not be smarter than I look after all.

Yes let's get them arguing about snot instead. Beat them with experience.

Seriously though, that's impressive. But is it soft enough? Walmart "Great Value" kitchen rolls are a bit rough on the schnozzle, and the nice soft snot rags are all girly sized so they can't really contain a man-sized blow very well at all.

Snot is a much-underestimated fluid that science has shown to be very useful.

Did you know that snail mucus is one of the best anti-wrinkle interventions in the world? If it wasn't for the yeuk factor we'd all be looking 10 years younger. But it's hard to market. King Snot has to know these things.

Oh man, is that why they used to do the Tunes advert where the man asks for "A first class ticket to Dottingham"

I'm blame you for pointing out that people might treat me like I'm stupid by using big words and then it just went off the rails man

I'm not even joking when I tell you that I'm literally sat here perplexed

It was a bad business and I didn't understand it either. I thought you responded well to it. Probably best forgotten.
