Floating on your back might be good.

I was thinking that too, but somehow they require you to tread water instead of just floating on your back.

Me neither. The last time I swam, it was hanging out with a friend at the pool last summer. I'm getting a bit better at it, though. It's a real calorie burner, and it tightens your muscles.
The thing I like about swimming is, you don't have to sweat like a pig like you do when you're running. And, it's just plain more fun because you're moving through something that is not air. Maybe you can give it another try?

Yeah, that might be an issue, but most of my swimming sessions are no more than half an hour.
It seems that you get bored a lot, though.

Because I hardly get to go anywhere. That's why I'm jealous about people who are around my age getting to do more with their lives, while I'm being "protected" by my parents.

Aww, that's unfortunate. Hmm...

Is there a pool near your home? Maybe you can convince your parents that you can walk or ride a bus to it safely?
Being 15, you should be allowed at least some freedom. As long as you're not out too much, you should be fine.

You're roight, I do need more freedom. Why do you think I'm not ready to be 16? All the other 16 year olds will be doing things and going places, qwhile I'm stuck inside with my brother and sister, doing nothing but getting annoyed by them.

Can you try to tell your parents about the benefits of not staying at home all the time? I don't mean just hanging around with your friends. I mean things that enrich yourself, like going to the pool or gym to get in shape, and reading at the library to learn new stuff. As long as they're public places with lots of people around at all times, you (and your parents) shouldn't be afraid of you being hurt by someone else.

Life shouldn't be one to complain about combustible lemons that burn it's house down.
When Life was little, it's parents gave it a chunk of coal for it's birthday.
It lit the coal on fire and threw it through their window.

Say, I'm a little ill, the clean chatroom will not be as clean for a little while.
A year and 20 days ago I discovered my interest for Cones in this thread.
