I would love to win also a SkyShowtime voucher - I could watch it for the whole year for free :) And another one, for buying something in a store selling t-shits and hoodies - I would choose 10 Harry Potter t-shirts for it; it's a very expensive voucher but the clothes from that store are also very expensive :D

It's more like random physical jerks

I was always the one at a rave who would fall asleep anyway

I don't know if that's because the d***s do work or if its because they don't

Oh, d***s. Took me a minute or two to decode that. I think it means they don't work.

Actually I've heard that if you pass out at a rave then instead of trampling over you like you'd think the stereotype ravers would, they're usually very responsible and try to save your life. Never tested the theory though. Nearest thing to a rave I've been to was a uni gig by The Levellers. I got dry-humped when I joined in with a group of dancers. I didn't want it that way, it was more like low-level sexual harassment and I never found out whether it was a boy or girl who did it. I was sober but it was a bit dark. I didn't go again. But the music wasn't bad if you like punky anarchist stuff. Round about 1991.

Can you make decent music if you're on drugs or are the drugs just to make the music sound better after it's been made

Well, the Beatles reckoned it helped to make the records better as long as they didn't go too nuts with the stuff. And a musician friend of mine played me an out-take of Jimmy Hendrix's "Play With Laughing Sam's Dice" and reckoned you could hear the point just after he'd snorted the coke and the point where he started to lose the rush.

As for making it sound better afterwards, when a bunch of us had some mushrooms in the 1970s we played some psychedelic records and they definitely sounded better than they had when we were straight. Just saying.

Recreational drugs can indeed make the subjective experience of various types of media more enjoyable. I have heard that sort of thing from people who smoke weed even, that it can enhance the activity of listening to music and such.

Depends on how intoxicated one gets. It can be hard to keep time if you're messed up.

I reckon I could make fantastic music while I'm on ducks but it wouldn't even sound like music when I'm not
