Helping others can indeed help to give you meaning when everything else seems lost.

Thinking of ways to help at an upcoming student event without my mom noticing.

My therapist said that in order for me to be more social, I must find any opportunities that I come across at school that may help me become more social.

I have a bad feeling based on what I've seen of it so far that 2018 is not going to be my year.

I am trying not to give in to food cravings, even though I am about to eat lunch.

how'd it go?

I've got to do what's right for me here on WP. I'm not going to win many popularity contests with some of the members. I'm not the same person I was between 2009 and 2015. I'm more honest about myself and I'm more real to the world and WP. I'm not afraid to show my true colours anymore. I've stated my case in PPR the other night and I'm not leaving here any time soon. The Cockney had its time in the sun and now is the Rebel's turn to shine.

I'm really scared that I'm going to have to get brain surgery in the future. I'm terrified of having my head shaved. People love my hair. I love my hair. Dystonia is awful. The only things I look forward to anymore is what makes me pretty and attractive. Dystonia as well as my bladder have made me feel useless as a person.

We didn't end up getting the stuff for the animal shelter or going to IKEA today, which made things a little easier for me, but I was still pretty overloaded and exhausted for much of the day. I'm guessing we'll probably do that over the weekend. I'm glad today was my last day of group therapy so I can sleep in tomorrow. I'm still obsessed with the dang movie, though. I really hope I don't have to actually watch it to get the obsession to go away - it's very gross, looks like it has a lot of sexual stuff, and I find it deeply horrifying in a way very few things are (actually, that last one is probably a good part of why I feel drawn to it - my brain is weird like that), I absolutely don't want to watch it. It's really annoying when I get obsessed with things I don't like.

I'm more able to take things in stride here on WP than I was 4 years ago. What happened?

I don't get guys wearing t-shirts when there's icy wind blowing. I don't understand how someone wouldn't be more comfortable bundled up.

Some people simply want to be foolhardy or idiotic on an intellectual level.

I've seen girls walking around with shorts and a t-shirt in icy cold weather.
