Yep, I'm planning to major in biology with a pre-med track, so that hopefully I'll get into a good med school.

Yeah, my mom overreacts to things ALL the time. I couldn't imagine she was serious at first either.

How long does it normally take (aka in normal circumstances)?

About 11 or 12 hours, depending on traffic. That isn't for train. The train should have taken 15 and a half. Huge delay, eh? They kept stopping.
