I buy bananas regularly, but that's about it for fruit; I really should eat more. I get through a lot of skimmed/fermented milk, complemented by tins of low fat pork or tuna. The bigggest change recently is all the new microwavable beans, rice and wheat dishes, mediteranean stile, or Uncle Ben's chilli or curries, which are tasty, convenient, and very good value (and they seem to last an age, so I can stock up). I confess also to buying cakes and biscuits, to make up the calorie count, and will enjoy a tiramisu or similar, when discounted (and maybe a round of camembert...).

Not a particularly healthy diet, but then, at age seventy, I find myself less concerned with long term consequences, and I'm slimmer than ever, and, just as important, I'm enjoying what I eat.

Will I ever change? Yes, if I get a place with more room for a weight lifting area; If I get back into training, I'll clean up my diet, for maximum benefit, but it would be no hardship, as I like cooking.

Cherry Bakewell Jaffa Cakes. This is definitely a new flavour. There used to be such a thing as 'Bakewell Tarts', but I think that's become a victim of political correctness - they seem to be referred to simply as 'Bakewells' now, lol.

I've also noticed that Jaffa Cakes are made in 'Coke Bottle' flavour - I've not tried those.
