I hope I don't see any clowns at 7-11 tomorrow morning, especially homeless clowns who insist on holding the door open for me and speaking French. I said to that guy, "Nice try." I also told him to find a nice, little English lady to charm.

My eternal clock must have been reset to New Zealand's time. I guess I can blame this on Daylight Savings. Sure why not? It's blamed on everything else, and I was getting up earlier until then.

Well, I was hoping I might hear something about a start date for my job this weekend, but I haven't. I'm really starting to wonder if I ever will at this point

Well, I finally heard back from the place again. Apparently there's another class that I need to take, which they told me about only two and a half hours before it starts This is really a lot of trouble to go to for just a crappy part-time job. Hopefully at least this class won't be four hours long.

Dean will be taking off for Maui early next Monday. He's going to be there for two weeks. I'm going to miss him.

I'm a bit puzzled when other people tell me the days go by so quickly because most of them have jobs. If their work is anything like school from when I was a kid, the days would just drag on forever.

I'm slowly coming to the realization that most people don't write 1,000 words a day, much less 2,000 or more, and that often what I take for granted is kind of amazing in their eyes.

And waivers take one year

So I have an appointment with a doctor for SSI next week. A little nervous. Wondering how different it will be than the doctor I saw for my assessment.
