I think some people just like life to be chaotic and dramatic and when it's not happening of it's own accord they're quite happy to go on manoeuvres and make it happen themselves.

Oh I've known a few of them in my life as well

I think I've been know to do a bit of manoeuvring from time to time

I have this ocd thing where I have to put everything back to the way it was so that's what it is with me
Probably a trauma related thingy

It can actually make things worse to be fair like picking a scab but no one ever seems to want to stop me and it's hard to stop these things by yourself

Sounds like a real-life troll, and a crafty one at that. I've seen it on social media too, but at least your livelihood doesn't depend on that. But when it's your income on the line, crikey. I suppose the management was tied up in its own rules and probably didn't care much about what was really going on.

Well I worked in sales and he was compliance and let's just say that when it came to trivialities he was an officious scunthorpe

I used to think my workplace experiences were like The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin. It was funny at first but it got darker and darker.

I've worked in some funny places me with some very funny people
It's the people who can make or break a job for me
I'm not that interested in the work usually

I can't stand some bosses though

I had one once who fired someone and then she later found out that someone who she didn't like in the workplace had had beef in the past with the person who she fired so she rehired this person just to spite the other person and to force them out of the workplace

It's nuts sometimes the lengths people will go

I suppose it passes the time though dunnit

I had one boss that wasn't a jerk. He was always polite, and once when I offered to do a ton of work for him he said "no, that's too much." He was from China, don't know if that made the difference.

There was another one from Russia who wasn't too bad, but he piled the work on a bit too thick sometimes. Another from Malaysia was nicknamed Satan and I could understand why, but after a bit we got on quite well. I stood up to her a couple of times and she learned to respect me, and I started to realise she wasn't as bad as she sounded when she was mouthing off.
