What if we're not the ones who are crazy? What if it's the people out there who are crazy?

The counselor put "motor retardation" on the insurance form

Reluctant to discuss driving with the counselor

That might give the counselor the bright idea of telling Department of Motor Vehicles to revoke my driver's license

:D

Jury duty

Went to the doctor, and she checked my blood pressure while lying down, sitting, and standing, and said I had a big drop when I went from sitting to standing. She really wants me to get more fluids. Kind of embarrassing that that's all it is  Not sure why I'd be feeling the effects so much more all of a sudden, though.

I also finally heard back from my job again, and am supposed to go in on Monday for on-site training. Presumably I'll be officially starting the job the day after that.

Cathy Lynn

The counselor might tell the DMV to revoke my driver's license, because I have :D motor retardation

The DMV sometimes revokes driver's licenses when someone tells the DMV that a driver has a medical condition that makes them unfit to drive a motor vehicle

i don't know the regulations where you live. motor retardation, unlike seizures, doesn't come and go quickly. perhaps, even if your counselor takes steps, you can take a driver's test to show that you're a competent driver despite mot. ret.

How I'm not like other people my age. I was trying to talk to my mom about being really lonely and scared, and she started talking about how I "should" be, like how other people my age function. I tried to tell her that with the people I consider my friends, I'm pretty average and doing alright, but she likes to always mention that so many people out there are doing better than I am.

I got told that playing one of my favorite games was for little kids and to keep the fact that I enjoy it a secret when there are plenty of adults who play it. It's annoying when people tell you, what you should be like at a certain age.

Right now I'm thinking about what I'm going to do after I finish my coffee. Maybe I can get some manga reading done.

My mum told me two years ago at the end of the month that it's time that I grow up. That I'm in my 40s and that it's not much that she's asking. I phoned her that evening after getting dropped off by my sister and got the answer phone. I left a message telling my mum The Secret that I was hiding for 30 years that I prefer Germany over Britain and that I'm unwilling to grow up to the high standards that she had for me and give up my helmet(s). I told her that I felt that I should only be able to come over on birthdays and holidays because of it. I took a physical break from her that summer but I still phoned her most days out of the week.

Cathy

Thank you very much

The counselor did not tell me that she was going to tell the Department of Motor Vehicles to revoke my driver's license

But she did put "motor retardation" on the insurance form

Thus far I have not talked to her about driving

And I am reluctant to discuss driving, with her

If I talk about driving, that might give her the bright idea to contact DMV
