Jonsi, what make/brand is that?
I have no musical talent, but I'd like to get some. I was thinking of buying a full-sized keyboard (which is 88 keys, right?) so I could practice at home without driving my neighbours nuts. Preferably, one as piano-like as possible. I'd also like to learn the cello, but that will have to wait until I have no neighbours at all!
It is a Williams Allegro 88-Key Digital Piano.
That one specifically is
found here (Click!) but I think you should start out on a 61-key piano if you aren't sure whether you're going to stick with it, as it's a lot easier to work with less octaves. But for as piano-like as possible, you're looking at maybe $500+ (Mine's like 300 something dollars). Those ones come with stands, built in pedals and higher quality keys. I got mine for use as a midi controller as well as an instrument, so mine is a little more portable.
I suggest taking up the piano before the cello, as you'll get ear training while learning the piano, and that comes in handy. :D Especially with instruments in the viol family such as the cello. If you have one nearby, I'd go to an instrument store for more information, as they tend to have a lot more knowledge on this than I do.
