Why is there such a thing as 'overqualified' for a job?

What would be the consequences of having a real, working Maxwell's demon?

[A computer would be well-suited to such a repetitive task.]

What if refrigerator lights are as odd as they seem at first?

What does 'cool' or 'hip' mean?

If one forgets about a good event in history, will one cause it to be repeated?

"Whoever controls the past, controls the future. Whoever controls the present, controls the past." - The Inner Party (1984).

Why does something have to be 'politically correct' instead of just 'as is'?

Why are there initiations when entering some fraternities?

In slang, why do "cool" and "hot" mean basically the same thing?

Also, figuratively, why do the phrases "thin chance" and "fat chance" mean the same thing?

Don't forget "tall order".

Why does money define power in our world today?

Why do any of us exist?

Here's some solipism: How can I be sure that other people actually exist, and are not just a figment of my imagination?

 You cannot be sure, but surely you become happier when you make the potentially simulated figments happier.

Do we all see colors the same way? For example, what I call blue might seem red in your eyes, and what you call blue may look red in mine, but we wouldn't know because we have known those colors as what they are for most of our lives.

I hope that made sense. I'm getting a bit drowsy and distracted at the moment.
