I was in a market too. On my way to meet my mate at Victoria, I called into Spittalfields'.
A bit crap to be honest and full of tat. Very disappointed by The Trocadero, although it was probably amazing back in the day.

I love that photo, CrazyCatLord! Quite something.

A marker of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Walk. The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Walk is a 7-mile (11 km) long circular walking trail in London dedicated to the memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. It goes between Kensington Gardens, Green Park, Hyde Park and St. James's Park in a figure-eight pattern, passing five sites that are associated with her life: Kensington Palace, Spencer House, Buckingham Palace, St. James's Palace, and Clarence House. It is marked with ninety individual plaques, each of which has a heraldic rose etched in the centre made of aluminium:

Nice work Teq, last time I visited all the sights was 2010, but the weather was brilliant
Unfortunately I wasn't really into taking pictures back then, so much.

Thank you. As you can see, the weather wasn't so clever when I went this time around. That said, it was fairly cheap to do, so...

Oh, and some more:

Another design on one of the gates:

And after this we slowly made our way back to the Tube station on Buckingham Palace Road.

Having got back from London absolutely knackered, we didn't much feel like going to have a great big meal, so we just ate in:

I love the RM1979 and it's my colour, too. Pea green! :P

The next day, we decided to take a trip into Bedford. To cut down on parking costs in the centre, we used the park and ride facility at Elstow.

Here's the exterior of the building (taken onboard the bus):

Multiple closed-curcuit television cameras on a pole in the car park (again, taken onboard the bus):

Having made it to the town centre, we took a look in at the tourist information office. A photo of the exterior...

I think most of us know what the inside of a bus looks like Teq :P

I got a new video camera so I think I'll be doing more videos than photography now, I really do like both though.

You wouldn't have said that if it was a picture of a cone. ;)

That's you told!

I like your pictures, Tequila. I liked looking at the people in the bus photograh and wondering about them all. :)

I have a question though: how do you remember where all those places were? The street names and the monument names etc. Do you take notes or just have a brilliant memory?

I think it's great to take photos of things that other people wouldn't normally bother with. I went through a phrase of photographing drains and manholes and documenting the manufacturers' names. Nobody else ever notices them. Poor drains. (They're a bit like cones in the sense that they just sit there unnoticed). :P

Well, as you probably know already, if you click the photo you get sent to my Flickr photostream where you can look at all my photos - all 9,243 of them. :)

More often than not, I don't. I have to use Google Maps or Google around generally for them later. This is obviously much more difficult outside an English-speaking country, though. I could get a GPS system that would log all the street names for me but frankly it's a bit of a faff. Some cameras even have GPS logging systems built in nowadays, although it eats through battery life like you wouldn't believe, so I'm told.

No, I don't take notes. Sometimes I don't put pictures up because I can't identify where they were taken or even that much about them. Aside from the lack of GPS info, though, most of the places I visit are quite well-documented as to their location. I've even started putting in 'A' and 'B'-roads in the title where necessary.

Well, I do that in abundance. I sometimes get some extremely odd looks (and occasional aggression, which I haven't a clue how to deal with - my social skills are really bad and I can see myself being extremely vulnerable if I was doing this on my own). This scares me, to be honest. Really, I have precisely the wrong hobby to have for someone in my position.

I definitely know that other people are into drains, too!

I know what you mean - I make sure the coast is clear before I take pictures of cones, and if there are people around, I try to make it not seem obvious!

We dropped in on a wonderful local café, where I enjoyed an Italian salad bap, which contains mozzarella cheese; pesto mayo; black olives and red onion with lettuce. Quite reasonably priced, too:
