Fireworks in the day time never really appealed to me

I can't think why

I was worried that I might have lost my Croc in the gap between the train and the platform edge the other day and I ran through a whole scenario in my mind picturing my whole day out in Liverpool with only one Croc on

I think that's called catastrophising

But I'm not complaining

I'm getting that nice odour again

I wonder if the kids are playing tricks in the hallway

It's funny how my daughter knows what I'm saying when I get all my words mixed up

I can't be doing with anything scented near me when I'm trying to sleep

It's probably the equivalent to having noise booming in your ears for me

I can just about cope with clean bedding but even that has to be shoved away from my nose until the odour wears off

It's pungent

I was asked if I was German by a mentally challenged boy on the bus ride home at the tender age of 11. I thought I wore my British/Scottish surname quite well until that. 11. What an age to be asked if I was from what I thought to be a war country at the time.

I acted all British for nearly 30 years after I was asked that question.

Mother: Why do you want to drink afternoon tea all of the sudden?

11 Year Old: I was asked if I was German and I want to forget about it.

sheering was ok, getting them on the ground not so much
next year i need someone if i'll do it again

for years i did catch at the other farm but the last time i helped there was when two youngsters(trainees) stood around doing nothing,

just as that time with the snooty vet, he brought a trainee and they stood there giggling(is that a word) while i had to do all the catching; i complained about that,
i wasn't the only one that complained, they got rid of him for his awful attitude toward farmers

the wool goes to china, but only if there's problems in aus, now they won't even have it
{one would say why don't the sheep- business diversify to another branch, eg insulation, then i don't work there, it would be an overreach to meddle with that, wait years till someone with the right papers comes up with that :mrgreen: :| }
