I always buy the same thing again if I can get it, unless I'm feeling starved of adventure. And I find life usually drags me into enough adventures all by itself. Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know, and the devil is usually in most stuff that's for sale.
But the trouble is, I look after things and try to choose stuff that's built to last, so by the time something needs replacing, nobody sells it any more so I'm dragged into an unwanted adventure. Especially with computers. I think they're designed to stop my programs from working so that I'll buy new programs. Too many unwanted learning curves.
