:skull: For some weird reason, casein boasts my EF instead of degrading it. Gluten does the opposite, however.

It's hard to believe my mother and I will be going on our trip a week from today. The past few years we'd normally leave on Father's Day, but it's Mother's Day this year. I got my mom a card and a gift from the Body Shop, but I'm also working on a painted wooden wall plaque of Tweety Bird that says "I wuv you, Mom." My mother told me Tweety is one of her favorite cartoon characters, so that's why I'm making it for her. Maybe for her birthday in August I'll get her a Tweety Bird plushie. :)

Wished I could just escape from everything - my job, my personal problems, sh***y co-workers, and everything that has generally been making me feel unhappy of late.

EF, as far as I know, is "executive function."

How are you, Cathy?

Had my echocardiogram today. Don't know when I'll get the results, but I'm not expecting anything to turn up since the orthostatic hypotension has greatly improved, if not gone away, since I stopped taking the propranalol I was on for my tremor.

Counseling (talk therapy) might not be worth the cost benefit analysis

Gone to 35 counselors thus far

What is the correct number of counselors?

Furthermore I am 35 years old

That is pretty old

Sometimes it appears that the counselors make purPosely vague and misleading statements. In an attempt to "help you feel bEtter". for example, "you have a right to live"

Nobody has a "right to live"

With the exception of capital punishment and the infantry, it is illegal to kill someone

But everyone is going to die

Plenty of children dropped dead from cancer. Age 5

Nobody violated their "right to live"

People that are alive, just  happen  to be alive

I am 35 and still alive

And what about murder victims?

It doesn't matter if they had a "right to live"

They are already dead

TellIng me that "you have a right to live" sounds like someone tried to eXterminate my dumbfuck worthless corpse

Thus far nobody has attempted that

If they did they would have succeeded

So what?

The statement "yOu have a right to live"

Sounds like the speaker was trying to. Protect, defend, or "help" my dumbfuck worthless corpse

But that statement sounds like the speaker believed that I have , or had, zero critical to skills

And that is not worth the financial cost or energy required to go to counseling

I feel like I'm drunk and all I drank was two cups of coffee.

The world has little or nothing left to offer me positively

Likewise I have little or nothing to offer the world positively

Loitering

Public nuisance

Carbon footprint

Going nowhere

Exhausted

Nothing seems worth the energy it takes

i am well and hope you are, too. EF in medical is ejection fraction or what percentage of its full load of blood the heart pumps out with each beat, usually measured by an echocardiogram. that's all i could think of, so, thanks.

essential tremor runs in my family. my maternal grandma had a bad case, as does one of my sisters. i only shake badly when i'm upset.

glad to hear you're not getting dizzy much now. yeah, the echo was probably overkill.

Is propranalol a common treatment for essential tremors?
