When I think of Polish artists, I think of Behemoth, Vader and Decapitated. :skull:

Polish albums reminds me of when I was very young and I read a story in a comic about a Polish refugee in ww2. I'd never heard of Poland so I thought it meant boot polish, and I couldn't understand why anybody would want to run away from it. It was a good story though. These kids had to get past a Nazi checkpoint without being stopped and interrogated, so one of them shouted "Heil Hitler" and saluted, and the Nazis laughed and said "Heil Hitler? They're only kids, ha ha!" and let them through. They always made Germans out to be complete idiots in those days. I bet in real life they'd have seen through that trick.

Cool. I like Vader but never got into the other two.

One thing I like about metal and punk is how international they are. A band might not be popular in any particular place, but still have a rather large fanbase because they have a few fans everywhere.

I think it's less that they're idiots and more that they're not personally evil so they don't bother to question situations that might require them to contribute to evil if they notice things.

Although, I don't rule out that extremely authoritarian societies might erode critical thinking. Awhile ago I posted a video about why Arab armies fail and that was one of the contributing factors.

Sometimes my pleasure seeking far outweighs any pressure to what's right

But I've worked that out now so maybe I can work towards some kind of compromise

I used to love going camping, I felt so happy around my family. Dad used to do brilliant fry up in the morning. I used to lov the sound of rain coming down on the tent.
