My sister had a huge cockerel called Dennis who kept leaning forwards then falling over - due, we thought, to his old age, and she still has a chicken called Sharon.
Some pet names are ridiculously funny, or I just have a weird sense of humour. Meh, probably the latter...

I actually wanted to name him Drumsticks, but I was calling for a person named Tom and he came running up to me. He picked his own name, I guess.

For some reason, this is the only way the picture is going to display. It's my friend's cat, Cally (though she's technically a tortoiseshell, not a calico). She seems to be somewhat camera shy.
